周りはリゾート地なのに、オフシーズンだったのかとても静かで、
私たちは波の音を聞きながら、

この日傘の下ですっかり眠ってしまった。

目覚めたら太陽が波を照らしていて、とてもまぶしかった。

Marita 2

Yesterday, I went to Marita Sweets Class in Yokohama again.

"Marita" is organized by Mariko Watanabe who has a great sense of cooking.

Apple tart with apricot jam and white sesame pudding with sesame croquant.

The lunch was pizza toast and banana toast and minestrone soup.

I made this "Kuri-cookie".

I was really careful making this carve.

Memories of Turkey

Turkey (Istanbul) was the first stop in our East Europe travels.


We visited my beautiful friend Senem who I met 11 years ago in England.

And also we visited her birth place Saray a beautiful small village.
I home stayed at her village 11 years ago for about 10 days.
That was a very important experience for me.
They are very friendly and warm people.

When I saw them, suddenly I was back in that memories.

It was just a day before her brother's wedding, so I could see some people I know.
I know some her relatives kids. At the time they were just 5 to 10 years old but when I saw them again they had already became grow-ups. They are taller than me
and one girl Elif (yellow dress in above picture)
has a baby (the little baby I hold in above picture).

I was really happy to spend time with my beautiful friend Senem.
She is as beautiful and powerful as before.


And it was great to meet Senem's son Yarkan.
He's so handsome just like his parents!
