The Tsunami covered my Papa‘s birth place in Kesennuma - Miyagi.
After the big earthquake we managed to get in contact
with my aunt and she said there was no problem with the house.
The Tsunami seemed to come just after the phone call.
And we couldn't connect them after that.
We tried to find there safety confirmation all the time.
But it is so difficult to find the information
because the area is so small.
My Papa said,
"They might be ok because the house is 2km from the seaside..."
But our hearts were full of fear whenever
we found out small information about the area.
3 days later, we heard from relative's relative of my aunty's death.
And next day we heard safety confirmation of my uncle and cousins.
The Tsunami through to my papa's birth place
and covered the next small city as well.
My uncle and aunt and their neighbors escaped to the
waterworks department building that is located just next to their house.
However in the meantime my uncle went back to his house
to tried to find something. The tsunami came at the time.
My uncle managed to escape and he could meet his son
afterwards in rescue area. He's 91years old
but he could escape the tsunami water.
In next day my aunt was found in the 2nd floor
at the waterworks department building.
Other people that were with her were missing.
The neighbors who I used to play with when I was child.
Tomorrow,25th March 9 o'clock am.
At last my aunt will be cremated.
I will hold a moment of silence in remembrance
of my aunt and those people who died in this unparalleled disaster.
