A Sense Of Wonder

I like walking with my Grand mother who is 91 years old.

She was a nursery school teacher for 54 years.
Her ideas for caring for children are daring and interesting.

She can see the world from children's point of view
and see what happens to them and
she always protect there sense of wonder.

I love her small soft deep wrinkled hands.
They always made me feel relieved.

Banana Bread Pudding

バナナブレッドのプディングは

はがしてしまいたい
すりきずの
かさかさ
かさぶたの
味がした

バナナブレッドのプディングを食べながら一緒に泣こう
という計画を立てた私たちは
今日の昼下がりにそれを実行した。


複雑な心の回路をどうシンプルにするかを話し合ったけれど、
それは「ハッピーであること」に行き着いた。
ひねくれて、素直にそこに行けなかった私たちは、
とても回りくどい方法ばかりとって、
いろいろなものを疑いながら問いただしていたけれど、
年もとってきたことですし、
私たちは素直にそこへ行き着いてみる事にした。
